A clear spray on coating that has a unique code that is repeated a million times. The idea is that even if the coating is worn off in different areas, the code can still be retrieved if there is 1% of it. The code is registered to the manufacturer. Those details would be stored in a cloud based service provided by Sonority. The codes would be tied to that service. The purpose of this unique coating is so that if the instrument was ever stolen or lost, the code could be scanned and then the specific details of the instrument be shown. It can also be used as a trigger point when scanned to update status or location of the instrument.
